Two Biohit offers two types of filters are offered:

• Safe-Cone Standard filter
• Safe-Cone Plus filter

It is recommended to use the Standard filters for general applications and the Plus filters for more demanding applications, such as cell culture, bacterial and virological work, and molecular biology. Standard filters can also be used also for this type of work, but they need to be changed more frequently.

When no filters are used, the pipettor can be contaminated already after 50 pipettings. To make filter removal safe and easy, forceps are packed with each Biohit pipettor;. the The mLINE mechanical pipettor features a unique filter ejection mechanism.
