Accredited Calibration
What does accredited pipette calibration mean?
- Measurements are traceable to national and international methods and standards.
- Both uncertainties of the pipette and uncertainties of the measuring
process are taken into account.
- You will know exactly, what uncertainty is due to the
performance of the pipette and what is due to, for example, the
uncertainty of the balance used.
- The laboratory issuing the certificate has been assessed by independent experts and authorities (e.g. FINAS, COFRAC, UKAS, DKD and Gosstandart)
- See example of Biohit's Uncertainty Budget
What we do:
- Pipette is tested for inaccuracy, imprecision and linearity to
determine the uncertainties of measurement for each volume calibrated.
Test volumes and data points are selected according to the customer
requirements.
What you get:
- Accredited Calibration Certificate and uncertainty budget in
accordance with ISO17025. This is the highest level of calibration
available.
Especially suitable for:
- Laboratories that are working with accredited laboratories or laboratories following ISO 17025, - i.e. accredited laboratories.
